Women of Excellence (W.O.E.) was established in 2007 as a non-profit community outreach organization serving the greater Washington, DC/Suburban Maryland areas.

 

The purpose of W.O.E. is to Strengthen, Empower, and  Encourage excellence in all aspects of the lives of young girls and women through outreach programs and events.  My purpose and sincere prayer are that the community we serve to be armed with life application principles to help them live, walk, and love in "Excellence. "

 

W.O.E.'s vision of "developing and encouraging excellence in all aspects of the lives of young girls and women" is a direct reflection of how I strive to live my life.  I have a passion for empowering women, and I will continue to use W.O.E. as my platform to impact and change lives positively.

 

Under my leadership, W.O.E. continues to assist homeless and battered women in re-establishing themselves and their families in the local communities.  W.O.E. provides Christmas dinners and gifts to needy families and serves as the voice of empowerment through forums and conferences for youth and women throughout the DC/Maryland area.

 

Additionally, the organization provides academic scholarship opportunities to selected high school students to assist with the desire to further their education.

 

Her sincere prayer is that the community we serve to be armed with life application principles to inspire all women from all walks of life to walk and love in "Excellence."
